My 101 Things

FRIENDSHIP, GIVING, AND OTHER WORTHY THINGS
Christmas every day.
Remember birthdays and holidays. Plan ahead.
Be mindful of what they want.
Answer e-mails right away.
They don't know unless you tell them. Once a day.

SELF-EXPRESSION
Write a journal entry once a day.
Self-portrait once a day and blog it.
A book in 1001. Page a day.
Paradise44 entry once weekly.
101 Things entry once weekly.

USE IT OR LOSE IT (the brain, that is)
Read a book every 2 weeks (at least).
Complete 30 (45) CE hours for nursing licensure per 2 years.
Learn all about my cell phone.
Read the manual every time.
Learn how to program the TV gadgets.

MAKING THE DOUGHNUTS
Achieve 250+ lph.

HOME
Monday Flylady hour.
Learn to cook something new once a week.
Spend 15 minutes in yard every day.
Remember cob. Build a bench, for starters.
Clean out my closet.
Clean out garage.
Go to the dump every week.
Organize closet, starting with earrings.
Keep filing up-to-date, every Monday.

FAMILY
Big family dinner once a month.
Outings with K and J once a month.
Have a catch.

FINANCES
Go to the bank once weekly.
Envelopes for D, K, A, R, K, J, me, and X-mas.
Keep on top of stocks. Check once a month.
If they want to pay me for my pictures, let them.
Finish 57 Spillway and sell or rent.

(MENTAL AND PHYSICAL) HEALTH AND FITNESS
It's all small stuff.
Substitute fruit for junk food. Eat an apple.
Make friends with the scale.
Drink more water.
Jog/walk 3 times a week.
Pamper me once a week.
Take my vitamins every day.
Just do it. Don't think about it.
Break it down.

CREATIVITY
Take an art course with Rae.
Put all framed portraits on scrapbook pages.
Learn to use the big loom and weave a set of placemats.
Assemble sewing table.
Unpack new sewing machine and learn how to use all features.
One hat and scarf (or pair of socks) a month.
Finish memory tablecloths.
Spin 1 skein a week.
Finish photography course.
Get the "perfect" sunrise picture of "the tree," or accept the picture in my mind and be done with it.
Get light stand for portraits.
Get backdrops for portraits.
Self-portrait a day for 366 days.
A "quality" picture at least once a week.
Don't be afraid of watercolors.
Dance.
Dance some more.
Don't let the perfect stand in the way of the good.
Find a tenor guitar (and maybe even play it).
Wipe Out drum solo while I can still hold onto the drumsticks.

POSTERITY
BYOB (Bring your own bag).
Recycle everything.
Find pop's grave.

CONDUCT OF LIFE
Cultivate gratitude.
Memento mori.
